My work is born from lineage, shaped by the hands and stories that came before me, and refined through a slow, steady practice of distilling instinct into art. I create by listening — to memory, to material, to the quiet truths that rise when we let them.
My pieces are made from the things that feel most true to me — historic textiles, natural fibers, dead-stock fabrics, wax, metal, & stone. Materials that carry stories: a sun-faded cotton table cloth, an 1800c hand-loomed linen, a time-honored technique. I’m drawn to the old, the storied, the textured — to creation that feels grounded, honest, and connected to something deeper than trend or novelty. A sweater my great-grandmother knit, a well-worn brass bangle, a faded cotton dress. An ode to the stories held in the details.
